The Last Hour of Revelations by John H. Rogers

Excerpts

I watched as he opened the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red." The Holy Bible, Book of Revelations 6:12.

All that I have written about in the preceding chapters encompasses the opening of seals one through six. If I understand prophecy correctly, and I believe that I do, the flood will kill only a portion of the world population. We are told that one-third will die outright. Time will pass and then one-third of those remaining will die. More time will pass before a third of those remaining will also be killed as the result of unfolding events.

The entire time it will take to cover the events heralding End Times totals 41.6 years.

In Revelation 8:1 we read, "When he opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour."
If one thousand years of man-time equals one day of God's time, then the math tells us that the silence will last for twenty years.

I say all of this realizing that God has told us that no one can know "the day and hour" that Jesus Christ will reappear and yet God gave us a clock in the form of seven seals. If He did not want us to investigate for ourselves, He would never have told us about end times and the seven seals. As He says in the Book of Revelations, "The word is there for those who have eyes to see and ears to hear."
